Family visit to the area including spa relaxation thinking early in the week would be quiet upgraded to an executive room which was very nice but a long walk including an outside path
Food good with the chefs takes on local dishes - hot pot Parkin and rhubarb tart after being told it was off for two nights - finally worth the wait!
Staff everywhere seemed overworked - long wait in the restaurant and room finally cleaned at 5pm but very friendly
Treatments in the spa excellent and wonderful steam and sauna suite but the pool was taken over - even up to 7.30pm on weekdays - by a company offering children’s swimming lessons so not a tranquil experience and the water looked distinctly cloudy so most of our party did not try it - cant have your cake and eat it - offer spa breaks or swimming lessons not bothMore
