Owner description: Chorley Little Theatre is a volunteer-run independent venue staging plays, musicals, pantos, touring comedy, music and films.Built in 1910, it has been owned and operated by amdram group CADOS since 1960 and produces at least 6 full shows per year, plus 2 by Chorley Youth Theatre. It's an ideal venue for comedy shows by top stand-up comedians, and the regular film showings are digitally projected on to the big screen, with Surround Sound. There's a great-priced bar and the building has full disabled access. Any profits go back into the upkeep of the building, and all income comes from ticket and bar sales.

First visit here last night and was bowled over by this quirky delightful theatre. We were impressed by the staff who were friendly and well informed. The bar was lovely and the theatre itself was a joy. By the way...the play 'two' was superb. We will definately return.

Came to watch a couple of comedy nights in Chorley - most recently Justin Moorhouse mid March 2013.

A fantastic night out. This is a small theatre, which is much of its charm. You can really enjoy the banter with the comedians, and the place attracts some well known acts possibly because of its intimate set up. They also have a great calendar of plays and musicals through the year.

Tickets are reaosnably priced £10-£15 for many live shows- and £4-£5 for one of the regular film club nights. This place is run by volunteers and all the staff are incredibly friendly. The bar prices are also very good (got a round of four drinks for less than £10)- and the pre-order of interval drinks works well (again, an attraction of small theatre so you feel comfortable having drinks left out for you unattended).

Would I return? Absolutely. As soon as I can line up another baby sitter, an evening here is a treat for us to look forward to!

I've been meaning to go to a show at Chorley Little Theatre for quite a while but just never got around to it
My brother had brought his wife some tickets for Justin Moorhouse and there happened to be a spare one - I really enjoyed the show but this is a review of the actual theater
The theater itself if small but perfectly formed - Apart from the floor being a little lumpy and bumpy :)
We were sat half way back and to the right - The view was fine - I think as it's such a small theater, there wouldn't be a problem with any of the seats
The theater has a small bar which serves very reasonably priced alcoholic beverages prior to the show, at the interval and after the show. As with most theaters, you can order and pay for the interval drinks before the show and your drinks will be waiting for you at the interval
