Description: Having first opened our doors in May 2012, this year, 1 week before our 2 year anniversary, a fire broke out and destroyed our restaurant completely. Luckily nobody was hurt and since then we have worked hard to rebuild a bigger and better LHK. With the help of the local community, friends and loyal customers we now have an all new dining experience we can share with you. We opened our doors again on 12th November 2014, just 6 months after the fire! Thank you to everyone for their kind wishes! A beautiful and modern yet relaxing restaurant offering delicious oriental cuisine, using the finest and freshest ingredients. Situated above the Dressers Arms pub in Wheelton, Chorley. Open Mon, Wed-Sun. We hope you come and see us soon!

“First visit and we have officially converted from our usual Chinese!”
Reviewed September 10, 2013

Me and my husband have been meaning to try this restaurant for ages so decided to try the early bird menu for £9.95 on the way home from work rather than getting a take away.

There is a different entrance for the restaurant to the pub which works well. We were greeted by the friendly staff and shown to our table.

There were only a couple of other tables in and a couple of people waiting for take aways so wasn't busy by any means but the food came out extremely quickly and was lovely and hot. Absolutely everything was delicious and the service was fantastic and friendly. The decor is also nice.

Sorry to our usual Chinese take away but we've now converted to LHK and are hoping to return next weekend with a group of friends.

Very impressed!

“Good food and good service!”
Reviewed September 1, 2013

Seems a little strange to have a chinese restaurant over a quaint country pub but it works! The staff are very friendly and offer a good service, the food is fast and very tasty!

“Friendly & Efficient - Pity about the family next to our table !”
Reviewed August 29, 2013

Booked in for 7.30 pm & shown to our table quickly, orders taken & food arrived soon after - starters of mixed dim sum were plentyful & tasty. We opted for one of the banquets & I was a little dissappointed that much of the food on this option was deep fried. Our choice was the mistake not really the restaurant, none the less, what we ate was tasty & filling.

My only real complaint (again not the restaiurant at fault) was the family of about 10 on the next table - all the children - I think about 6 (from 2 yrs > about 8 yrs) were seated at one end of the table (nearest to us !) so noisy & with food strewn around the table & floor - not what I want to be subject to on a Saturday night out :-(

“Nice food but lose the service charge”
Reviewed August 22, 2013

We had a lovely meal at this restaurant. We were in a family group and the bill came to £250 but the restaurant added a £25 service charge. I was going to tip 10% and initially did so, mistakenly, on top of the service charge. Good thing I realised as a £50 tip would have been very excessive. This is a local restaurant on the outskirts of a small town. Service charges belong in my considerable experience to large cities. Have a re-think owners.
