Just returned from a stay in the Cadbury suite themed room and it was amazing. The chocolate was everywhere kids loved it! The room was clean and very comfortable. Large flat screen tv with all channels. We used the pool which was also fantastic, towels available there and plenty of small inflatables for the kids to play with. We eat in Brookes restaurant and the food was amazing. The magician went down well with the kids to finish the night off!! Breakfast again was great and plenty available. Only moan was no milk in our room but got a small bag full of the little cartons at reception!

Many thanks for taking the time to write such a lovely review about our Hotel.

It’s fantastic to hear that you and the children enjoyed staying in the Cadburys Suite. We are very proud of our themed rooms and they are always a hit with the children.

I will also pass your kind comments onto the staff in the Leisure Club and the restaurant; they will all be pleased to hear that we are continuing to get the offering just right.

We look forward to welcoming you back to Park Hall in the near future, perhaps next time you might try the Bassett Suite.

Thanks again.

I have recently booked a Spa Day at Park Hall to treat my mum. I have visited Park Hall when I was younger and I was sad to see they have done very little since my last visit. The pool and spa facilities were very tired and the hotel needs some money spending to bring its standards up. The changing rooms had no air flow so were very warm and should have been cleaned more often. It seems like they have few visitors and for those that do visit, they're not reinvestiging the money in renovating.

Thank you for taking the time to review our Leisure Club. It’s a great shame that we did not meet your expectations on this occasion.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could contact me and let me know when you did visit so I can check that there was no blip in our cleaning regime as its highly unusual that we receive similar comments.

Our leisure club membership has continued to grow over the past few years with it never being high than it is at this moment in time; however we are always looking to improve our offering so your comments have been taken most seriously.

Thank you once again for the review and I do hope to hear from you in the near future

We booked a one night Camelot package stay 2 adults and 2 8 year olds the hotel is clean yes most of staff are young but they are a credit to the hotel nothing was too much of a problem for them we ate at Sams dinner admittedly not mine and my wifes cup of tea but the kids loved it. We stayed in the holiday village, rooms were clean and tidy yes a bit dated but what do you expect for the price only criticism would be that it would of been nice to have chairs and a table outside the room so you could sit outside in the evening. Breakfast food was great again the staff were very helpful and the breakfast area was clean and tidy. If you are looking to take the kids away for a couple of days I would go for it!

My friend and I have just got back from an overnight Camalot break with our two eight year boys. We have had a fantastic time and can't recommend this place enough in terms of things to do, value for money and lots of laughes.

The theme park caters for all tastes, with very well performed shows and good choice of rides. The knights and the jester were very very funny and entertaining!!!

The accomnodation was not in the main hotel but for us the holiday bungalows were a far better option as the children had far more room to play. Yes, they are little dated in decor but very clean and comfortable.

We dined in Uncle Sam's Americian Dinner as this suited us all. It was great value for money with flawless service followed by a very funny evening entertaining show. The buffet breakfast caters for all tastes and was again to a very high standard.

The boys had two hours this morning in the fab lagoon swimming pull and we struggled to get them out!! It's wonderful value for money, very clean and a super family break. We can't wait to return!!!!!

Thank you for such a lovely review. It’s so great to hear that we are continuing to get the offering just right.

It’s fantastic that you enjoyed the Theme Park. I have to say the show and the jousting is my favourite part too.

As you said our village complex is very popular with families that come to visit, the rooms are very specious with lots of space outside for the children to play. It’s great that you liked this.

I will pass your kind comments onto the team at the leisure club and in the restaurants.

We all look forward to welcoming you back to Park Hall in the future.

We booked our room as part of the camelot package for the night with breakfast and a family ticket to Camelot. Went with two children plus two adults. For a treat we stayed in the Bassett suite located in the village next to the hotel. Wasa bit apprehensive about booking after reading reviews on this, this stay turned out to be an enjoyable experience and turned out to be ok and much better than i thought. Goes to show you you shouldnt believe everything that you read!!!. The room was so colourfull and full of surprises it had plenty of Bassetts sweets hidden in the rooms. The kids loved it!! .
The staff were friendly, the entertainment for children 8-10pm was enjoed by all and we all enjoyed a swim the next day in the lovely pool before tucking in to a lovely breakfast.
Would definetlety stay again.

Initially booked as part of the camelot package for the night with breakfast and a family ticket. Went with two children plus two adults. With the five year old having her birthday on the day of arrival I upgraded to the cadbury suite (sweet?).

The cadbury suite is located within the village area which initially set alarm bells ringing in my head (due to reviews on here!). Turned out to be ok. The suite has an entranceway shared with both cadbury rooms, each suite has its own lock. The room had plenty of chocolate hidden in various locations. It should be noted that the room is looking quite tired, the door to the pull out bed was damaged, the drawers dont close properly and the carpet in not the original cadbury carpet. The room could do with a good deep clean too, sure the central bit has been vacuumed but dont move the sofa or the TV. I have enclosed pictures of the room. Incidentally the kids loved it. The room is divided into two rooms, the living area with large TV, sofa and pull down double bed. The second room has two single beds. Sleeping on the pull down bed was OK but not what I would call comfy - more serviceable. No complaints from the kids on the single beds.

Views from the room show bits of the park through the trees, very nice and leafy. Windows opened well and there was a good selection of teas and coffees. Obviously we had lots of chocolate too! Bathroom had a shower cubicle and a bath. The taps on the bath leaked spoiling the floor, a small bit of tissue "diverted" the leak water into the bath. There was a temporary repair on the leak although it looked to be temporary "a long time ago".

We swam in the pool which was excellent. There are two pools, one lanes swimming pool and a separate lagoon pool. The lagoon pool had beach balls and rings in it for the kids. Changing rooms were clean and lockers were plenty. Shower pressure was good with towels and soap included.

We ate in Brookes restaurant which was very good. Sat down at 7pm, food arrived at 7.25 and we were out for 8.15 (in time for the childrens magician). Overall I would say the food was good, hot and tasty.

Childrens magician was good for the youngsters and certainly kept them entertained. The bar area had plenty of room, we sat outside near the "giant chess" for our drinks.

Breakfast was busy. There were no tables free initially. However the food was plentiful, if the juice ran out I asked and another jug was brought out quite quickly. I asked for more toast and coffee - both of which arrived on the table within a couple of minutes.

Overall the service was good, and the main hotel looked clean and tidy. The village needs and overhaul - including the suites. Perhaps a better solution to the pull down bed could be entertained or a harder bed better mattress. You cannot fault the location or the grounds. A quick walk around is quite pleasant. The health club was a good experience and I have no issues with the food or drink.

Room Tip: Pick a room in the hotel. Cadbury suite is a good novelty for the kids but wont be repeatable for m...

Many thanks for the feedback about your recent visit to our Hotel. It is very pleasing to hear that you and the children enjoyed staying in our Cadburys Room.

By telling us what you liked and didn’t like about your stay will help us to improve our Hotel for the future. We did replace the carpet in the Cadburys room a few months ago as the original one was beginning to look tired. It was with great regret that we could no longer source a branded Cadburys carpet but we did choose to go with a very similar colour to remain in keeping with the room.

It is very pleasing to hear that you did enjoy the other facilities such as the leisure club, restaurant and of course the entertainment we have to offer. I will pass you kind comment onto all of the team who will be delighted to hear them

We all look forward to welcoming you back to Park Hall in the near future

We stayed on a Camelot break in the village accommodation. The room was VERY BASIC but it was CLEAN and the bathroom had been modernised to a good standard.

The bad points are - the pull down bed was very disappointing. It was very bizarre that in this day and age, with a little thought, and some modern space saving furniture you could have had a proper bed instead. That said we spent very little time in the room.

The good points - pool was great and we enjoyed a super family splash session. The breakfast was good, although more continental stuff would not have gone amiss. The kids entertainnment was outstanding we laughed all night, although they did apologise for the small room. The Camelot tickets tipped it over into a good break for the family on a shoe string budget!

You get what you pay for on this break, its isnt the ritz so dont expect luxury, its clean and serviceable!

Room Tip: If you have a dodgy back avoid the village suits and the pull down beds.

Many thanks for the feedback about your stay at our Hotel. It is very pleasing to learn that you enjoyed your stay with us and that you of course enjoyed the theme park.

I have taken note of your comments about the pull down bed however it is worth noting for future visits it is possible to upgrade to one of our “Comfort Plus” rooms, these rooms are very spacious studio type rooms with a double bed and one or two single beds and has a completely refurbished bathroom.

Once again thank you for your kind comments and we do look forward to welcoming you back to Park Hall in the near future.
