we went to a golden wedding and we were well looked after, The food was enjoyable but not fantastic. One of the party had to many things on her plate, she did not know where to start. My wife had rice with a sauce, the rice was swimming in it, would have been better if the sauce had come in side plate. Beside this we had a good time and l would go back.

After a day in Southport we booked a table here On Sunday. We selected the rose shiraz at £12.50 a bottle. We were told to sit at a table waitress will come over. 20 minutes later we went back to bar and had to order there no waitress even though it was quiet. The roast beef Sunday lunch was almost uneatable meat wise it was as tough as boot leather! Veg was undercooked quite raw. Now the wine came with just a generic "blush"stamped on the label quite laughable really probably cost them£ 3 at the most.
It said 12% on the bottle but was practically non alcoholic. We felt ripped off and to be honest we were. Nor be returning so many better nearby.

Arrived and the restaurant was very quite. Asked for a table for 2 and a high only to be told. That THE high chair was being used and would only be available in 45 minutes. I would nt mind if they were busy!! Had two bad experiences at this restaurant now and will not be returning.

We found this pub online when looking for dog friendly pubs, as we wanted to have lunch with our friends and their new puppy. Whilst dogs are not allowed in the restaurant section (understandably) we were allowed to eat in the pub section and a table was quickly pushed together for the 6 of us. There was plenty on the menu to choose from and upon receiving our food, the waiter also brought out a plate of dog treats for the puppy. The food was great and reasonably priced. Would definitely come again for lunch with the dog.
