I generally stop here to charge my car, after realising the hotel offered coffee and snack I decided to try the breakfast today on my way to Scotland from Mallorca. Very pleasant and welcoming staff, happy to be in their place of work and cheerful. Helen in particular offered great service and provided a fantastic breakfast. Thanks guys

I've stayed here a few times since it reopened after rebranding and refurbishment. It's easy to reach from both side of the M6 and also via the adjacent A49/B5250. Just be wary of the numerous pot holes and severe speed bumps! The hotel car park is separate from that for the services and as such is spacious and quiet. The hotel is modern and comfortable and popular for overnight stays to break long journeys, a touring base and for contractors. The £27 meal deal is a great idea and I can highly recommend it as the portion sizes at dinner are generous. Everything works well although a little TLC is needed in the rooms as some of the refurbishment work is starting to wear off. I'd happily stay here again.

Most welcoming staff on arrival to reception. Hotel rooms are clean and tidy. Stayed here for 4 months and never had any issues. From the managing staff Angela and Sam to the reception and catering staff Reece, Courtney, Maz, Jonathan, Michelle, Dawn, Helen, Alex and the 2 Tom's will go out there way to help. The rooms are cosy and the welcome you get at reception when you arrive and throughout your stay is amazing. Sam, Reece and Tom stood out and went above and beyond to facilitate us. We had evening meals on two of the nights and I must say the steak pie was amazing. Breakfast was buffet and was very good and plenty of choice. Again a big shout out to Reece, Sam and Tom for the hospitality they gave.

Check in was a nightmare. Staff were too busy serving drinks to attend to checking in guests. Bathroom in my room smelled of stale smoke. Staircase leading to the room was filthy and unclean. Not what I expect having paid £85 for the room.

EXCELLENT WELCOME From the time we got to the hotel "Reece" on the reception made every effort to sort out our rooms and anything we needed for the whole weekend. Thanks young man!. The other colleagues were also very helpful and accommodating to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Definitely be using that hotel and other Ramada Hotels around the country with the excellent experience. p.s Please put a few more weights in the exercise room :)

Booking was mixed up and charged twice. Very noisy group fighting at 3am continued till about 5 and room ok but not very clean. It’s right in services so you have to go up a junction to go back southwards
