We fell upon this restaurant by accident during a heavy snow fall, intending to have a coffee and one glass of wine, we were so comfy relaxed and taken with the views we decided to make a day of it and booked a room in burnley for the night. We had a great time, the fires and furnishings bring coziness to what is a large restaurant, the views are lovely over the country side, we tried 3 lovely red wines, coffees, enjoyed live entertainment as the pianist/singer was superb! Standards are high, the decor, staff, facilities, I cannot wait to return, only problem is we live in Warrington Cheshire.

The restaurant is warm, welcoming and wonderful. early dining for families with young children is ideal as it is quiet yet the food is superb and the roaring fires are very cosy. Well done Ninos we enjoyed our early Sunday lunch !!!! The only thing I will say is that drinks are very expensive... maybe this could be looked at?

Have been going to Ninos Rawtenstall for over 20 years and decided to try Cliviger for a retirement party. I was a bit concerned with the mixed reviews but when we arrived we were made to feel very welcome and we were very impress the the look of the place. Alex the owner has really renovated it very well Our party of 10 were well looked after and service was excellent. The food was wonderful and everyone enjoyed their meal, Steaks done exactly as requested and the monkfish and scallop provencal was absolutely delicious and the trio of lemon dessert -lemon cake icecream and tart superb. No complaints whatsoever. We intend to return and look forward to summer when we can see the views in daylight.

Loved the big open plan style and live singer was ace. Starter of goats chews was great. My main of pasta with prawn and crab was ok- a bit thrown together- no finesse but tasted ok. I would return and try other things on the menu.

Interior - beautiful
Staff - brilliant
Food - spectacular!

Only been once but will never use another italian restaurant. I had a carbonara and it was just awesome. Our starters were full of flavour....but we both loved the decoration inside and the atmosphere.

Book early to get a table....
