Due to receiving an e-mail offering a Father's Day deal whereby dad's eat free, myself and three others - including dad - visited on Sunday.
Having left it a little late to book a stable, the earliest they had was 6pm when I rang the day before. This was a little later than I would have liked, but that's my own fault.
Having arrived a little before 6pm, I was pleased to note that the table was ready, unfortunately the person I made the booking with had misheard my surname (it's not difficult) and had booked us in under 'Gok' or 'Wok'!
Bottles of wine start at just under £13 which is a Hardy's. Main meals begin at around £8. Food and drink ordering was swift and efficient as it wasn't particularly busy at that time. However, the food did take quite a while to arrive. Thankfully, everyone's dishes were cooked to perfection when they did arrive and we were all too full to contemplate a dessert. The quantity of food on your plate is deceiving - you don't think there's much, but you end up comfortably full.
A party of approximately 12 were booked on to the table just behind, which included children. Space was a little tight, but as both ourselves and the large party were considerate, this was not a problem and the attentive waitress ensured that were were OK a number of times throughout the meal.
Given this most recent experience of The Ram, I am inclined to commence becoming a regular once again, however the TV's still need to go!
