Just spent a lovely Sunday afternoon at the Ram inn at Cliviger. The cold afternoon was forgotten with a table for 4 sat near the open fire with logs burning merrily, next to that was a Christmas tree with snow pouring from the top, through the branches. Lovely ambiance. It's self service from the bar and ordering food, but the menu is throrough and the food was excellently presented and extremely tasty. I had a unique beef and red wine pie. Lovely square, deep filled pie. Other meals were rump steak, gammon and salmon. All were said to be tasty, lovely food. The sticky-toffee pudding to follow was a dream.
All in all, well worth the visit for a wonderful meal, 3 courses with a bottle of wine and coffees for £73. Congratulations to the staff, we will be coming back.
