“Charming, well-appointed cottage in the heart of Whitstable.”
Reviewed March 14, 2016 for a stay in March 2016

We spent a lovely weekend in this charming, clean and cosy cottage right in the heart of Whitstable. Tastefully decorated with comfortable beds and everything you could need for a weekend break, it was a perfect place to stay as we were attending a wedding in East Quay. It is close to all the shops, restaurants and cafes, and a stone's throw from the sea...perfect for an early morning walk. Paula was very helpful and accommodating - we were able to delay our departure time on Sunday morning, and she provided logs for the welcoming wood burning stove. We would love to come back!

“We loved our stay in Cormorant Cottage”
Reviewed January 6, 2016 for a stay in December 2015

This spacious cottage was right in the midst of Whitstable high street so accessible to shops , restaurants as well as being only a few steps away from the beach.
The cottage was homely and well looked after and had everything we could possibly need for our holiday.

I stayed at Comorant cottage with my wife and 2 daughters and there husbands. We arrived and were welcomed by Paula who explained how to work the ovens, TV, fire, etc. The cottage was cosy and in an ideal position for pubs restaurants and shops. My wife and I had the large bedroom which was very comfortable, the 2 son in laws stated that the 2 other double beds were to short for them, they are both 6' 2". We did have the fire on for 2 evenings which was very easy to operate. We found free parking about 200 yards away. On the whole I would say that this is a very tidy and for me comfortable house, which is very clean and nicely decorated.and good value for the money charged.

“spotlessly clean, comfortable and very central”
Reviewed October 14, 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Our family group of 5( 2 parents and 3 adult children) had a wonderful time at Cormorant Cottage where we spent a memorable weekend celebrating two family birthdays. The cottage was spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Paula was most welcoming and very helpful. (My daughter forgot her phone charger and Paula very kindly posted it back within a few days. Thanks, Paula! )
Whitstable is a really pretty quaint seaside town, with lots of lovely shops to browse in and where we enjoyed strolling by the sea and choosing fresh fish from the harbour to cook back at the cottage for supper.
Overall, a truly enjoyable family weekend.

“What a find !!”
Reviewed September 30, 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Everything about this cottage is perfect. From the location - it really is 100 steps to the beach! Everything you need for a weekend , the most comfortable beds ever, a lovely private patio with fairy lights and the most wonderful welcome from the owner. Complete with advice on local restaurants and a pint of milk in the fridge. Can't recommend this cottage highly enough and whitstable is a great place for a short break.
We will definitely return one day.
