Stayed at The Premier Inn during Christmas.
For the money,it was fine.
Simple and clean.
15 minutes walk into Whitstable.
TV that worked.
Ensuite Bathroom.
We paid between 30 and 70 pounds per night. The latter being on Christmas Eve.
Breakfast at the Beefeater was good value.Unlimited Coffee and Food.
Good Value chain of low priced Hotels.

My wife and I stayed at the Premier Inn Whitstable for a 3 night break at the sunny start of March 2014.
I had read some of the reviews on Trip Advisor about this hotel and decided to ring up a few days beforehand to ask for a room overlooking the car park away from the 'Busy Road' noise that some of the previous guests had encountered.

The reception lady I spoke with via telephone could' nt have been more helpful and our request was honoured with a really excellent sized family room on arrival.
We chose this particular Premier Inn as we wanted to visit. Canterbury and Faversham.
The location of the hotel was ideal for this.;with these places just a handful of miles away
We learned from the reception staff of the excellent bus service that leaves from opposite the hotel and does a trianglular route to Canterbury and Herne Bay and then back to Whitstable( and visa versa )
We met alot of congested traffic on the Sunday when we arrived and taking the bus in the hight of the season would be alot less stressfull.
We were happily welcomed by the reception staff in a really friendly way and this manner continued throughout our stay by every staff member we met..
We needed an extra duvet one night and could'nt have been helped more.
Also extra towels one morning and the housekeeping staff were very attentive . openly offering more tea and coffee if we needed it.
Our room was impeccably clean and very very comfortable.
All the staff we met were extremely approachable and this ,we felt ,led to a really lovely, relaxing few days.
We ate in the Beefeater next door on the first night, it was really really busy,
and our original booking time was changed to 45 mins later.( we had pre booked our time slot the day before)
The meal took along time to come( 40 mins) and we felt it really was very over priced.
Whitstable,Tankerton and Canterbury and Faversham are all full of excellent eateries..all near by.
This Premier Inn is in an excellent location to tour the surrounding area and all the staff we met were excellent,we have had worse treatment in 4 / 5 star hotels!
We will definately book to go back .

Very friendly and helpful staff. We arrived early and was made very welcome. We left the car in the car park and returned in the evening to check in. Local knowledge very good, only approx £5 for taxi

We have spent many nights with Premier Inn in other locations. This hotel was like the rest very good service comfortable bed clean room and bathroom excellent for the price paid, however the attached Beefeater was a nightmare.
Dinner was over priced
service was reasonable
quality bearable just

Breakfast was for the first time in any Premier Inn was over priced to the extreme to what you received

The hot water for Tea was luke warm
Cooked breakfast was two under done eggs, one pink sausage, dried up beans and the final insult 7 tiny pieces of bacon which were mainly fat and all for the extortionat price of 8.95

Alas not! I spend an awful lot of my working life living in hotels and I don't think I have ever had such an uncomfortable night as the 3 I spent in this hotel. Which is a great shame as everything else was fine.
Our room overlooked the car park, which is the quieter side of the hotel, the other side overlooks a busy main road. I was impressed by the number of sockets available - 4 (including the desk lamp) by teh desk and one by the bed. I've spent a lot more and had a lot fewer sockets.
The room itself was spacious with a large (uncomfortable) double bed, sofa, desk, chair, smallish flat screen Freeview TV and tea/coffee making facilities.
plenty of space in the car park and very close to the Beeefeater.
Only 30 minutes free wi-fi, but at only £3 for 24 hours, it's far and away the cheapest paid for wi-fi I've ever come across.
We booked at the flexible rate so nowhere near as cheap as it could be. £66 per night plus another £16.50 for 2 breakfasts.
While on the subject of breakfast, it's an all you can eat deal, which is great. The only slight issue is that you order the cooked breakfast so you have to know how much you want when ordering. Not a huge problem really :-) There are various cereals, fruit, yoghurts, croissant, bread for toast and jams/marmite/honey. Slightly odd that you give your order for the cooked brealfast, then go off for cereal and the cooked dish is brought out as soon as it is ready. On the plus side, lovely fresh cooked food, on the negative side, if you want cereal first, eat it quickly!

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the car park are quieter

this is a premier inn and is just what you expect from this brand .
as usual this is a clean , well run and convenient stopover hotel .
not too far from the town , just a short bus ride or a half hour walk.
the reception was very good at this inn as was the restaurant / pub.

We stayed for a 2 night break at this hotel. The staff were very helpful and the location is ideal, just a 25 minute walk from Whitstable, although we did get a taxi back to the hotel as you have to walk up a big hill (taxi cost £4.20).

Definitely thinking of going again
