“Just what you would expect”
Reviewed September 2, 2013

Arrived 20 minutes before check-in time and asked if we could check in so we could go out to the beach , No was the answer . We came back 20 mins later and check in was very quick and efficient by a nice young man . Room was a large family room on the ground floor facing the carpark. It was clean and fresh .
My only moan is that yes it's summer and they have provided 2 electric fans but due to lack of electrical sockets in the room there is only one place to plug them in with a kettle and the TV plugged in.Which then the breeze doesn't actually reach you when you are in bed . Especially in the days with phones and I pads etc to plug in .
We had breakfast 2 days running in the Beefeater next door .I would say a different chef was on duty each day as the quality of the cooked breakfast was great on the 1st day but sadly lacking on the 2nd .
My 2grandchildren and I ate dinner in the restaurant which I wouldn't say was reasonable .£34 for the 3 of us .Next day we went ate out but there is a Mcdonalds just 2 miles away .
All said a very typical Premier inn .

Stayed here for one night and booked at last minute. Reasonable room , clean and basic but thought the price of £110.00 with breakfast was expensive. Staff friendly but service in restaurant next door was very slow.

The room was of the standard that you would expect from a Premier inn, the check in/out staff were friendly and helpful. The Hotel is attached to a Beefeater restaurant, once again the staff were friendly and helpful, the food waiting time was very short, considering the restaurant was busy when I visited it. The breakfast was very nice and cooked to perfection, the friendly and helpful staff helped any customers who were unsure of the procedure.

Wanted somewhere for one night stay coming back from France to Leeds. This was excellent value for 3 of us (2 adults and 1 child). The attached Beefeater was good value for a late dinner and provided an excellent breakfast (part of the price for the hotel). Room was comfortable and good bed for son

No frills, no fuss. Its easy to find, its clean, it has comfy beds with a bit of room to store your bags, hot shower what more do you need.

Stayed in a family room last week, warm welcome by the front desk staff, nice clean room and attached to the Long reach pub where you have your food which I'll cover in a review to there but if you're wondering its a fabulous menu and great staff.

Whitstable is one of those places that has been overrun with dfLs (down from London) and the traffic at the weekends and during the summer period can be hectic so with the Premier Inn being just outside of town is welcome relief as you don't need to fight that traffic if you don't want to go into town.

The only negative I can think of would be that the rooms could do with air con, we weren;t too bad but if would have been a littel warmer it would have been uncomfortably sticky at night.

Generally good standard but part of the original building rooms a little tired. Our room minor repairs needed. Perhaps Premier Inns could provide proper quality toilet paper one day what is provided a bit of an insult so take your own. Adjacent Beefeater and car parking good.Easy bus connection to Whitstable and Canterbury

Everything was very nice apart from the room not having air con, a small fan Did not really help and even though we had the window open we could not have the curtains open due to the amount of lights that shone into the room.

Room Tip: Be prepared foe an uncomftable nights sleep if the weather is warm.
