“A great find!”

Such a great location makes me want to live in a little town, everything is right there.....we didn't use the car for 3 days..... A lovely house with everything you could possibly need, you don't get a view but less than 2 minutes walk to the beach you don't need one and the beach just goes on and on....... I can't see the point of staying away from home and being cramped in a hotel room so having a whole house is brilliant, wifi, comfy beds a good shower and space are top of my list so Harbour Mews certainly fitted the bill. The downside was that the shops were so gorgeous I wanted to buy everything in them!!! So many super restaurants, delis and coffee shops just around the corner was an amazing treat. Set in a little side street just off main street the house was a peaceful place to stay. Thank you.

There is a link to our own website which explains about the nearby parking, although the surrounding residential streets are FREE day and night, they are popular and spaces may be limited at certain times. There is also a long stay car park about 8 mins walk away.
Thanks for your feedback.

“First Class Cottage”
Reviewed May 31, 2013 for a stay in May 2013

This is an excellent base to explore Whitstable and the surrounding area. The cottage is very central - only a few paces from the main shopping road and a minute from the beach - but is on a little used side road and so is surprisingly quiet. There is a car park within 30 metres (80p an hour, free overnight) but we found it pretty easy to park on the residential roads that are behind the cottage within a minute or two's walk.

The cottage is very well equipped, very clean and well presented. The main bedroom is excellent. The second bedroom is a little cramped but adequate.

We really appreciated the flowers and the tea, coffee and milk that were left for us.

We had not visited Kent before but will certainly return and will definitely come to Harbour Mews again.

Thank you for your comments. Maybe should have said improvements to the bathroom were scheduled for soon after your visit, so consider the bathroom suitably spruced, with new tiles around the bath and new bath panel.
Glad you enjoyed your stay, hopefully see you again soon.

“Pretty and comfortable cottage, near the shops and the sea”
Reviewed January 6, 2013 for a stay in December 2012

A very cosy, warm and comfortable boutique-style cottage, well situated in the pleasant town of Whitstable. No car is necessary to get there, as the transport facilities by train and by coach are exellent. Off street parking is possible but not always easy to find. There is a short stay car park just at the end of the road and long stay car parks further away. We received a great help from the lady who takes the reservation and looks after the cottage. We would certainly recommend this cottage to any of our friends.
