A very nice, clean and modern cottage. Very close to the bar, restaurants and local shops. Locals were very welcoming. Free parking on the street, although very tight on space! Would stay again and Whitstable is a lovely seaside town.
Second time we have stayed here...good location...near to heart of the town but just far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle.Clean, well equipped and tasteful
decor and touches - end of terrace too. Will
return and would recommend for sure.
Lovely little cottage in Whitstable, conveniently located for all the facilities the town has to offer, nicely decorated and ideal for the little ones. Would heartily recommend.
We spent a long weekend staying at Breakwater Cottage in very cold weather. The central heating system kept us warm and cosy and we also used the wood burner. We loved the central location , close to the beach and the town, but situated down a pretty side street. Some noise from the local pubs in the early hours of Saturday morning, but you should expect that in a central location. Possibly the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in - heavenly! Great, well equipped kitchen and everything in the house done to a very high and stylish standard - loved the art work too. Felt like a well loved home, not just a holiday let. We will stay here again in the future. Great communication from the owner too.
We had a nice stay at Breakwater cottage - the house is nicely decorated and my bed was very comfy.
Although stair gates are provided, these did not fit so I would advise to bring your own.
On a final note - we almost had an altercation with the owner regarding the damage deposit. I would therefore always recommend booking through a letting company and not directly with the owner.
Four of us stayed at this lovely little cottage for s couple of nights recently and we were very impressed. Close to the high street and shops, no car was needed to shop or eat out. The cottage itself is modern, clean cozy and had all the items you need for a comfortable stay. Deposit swiftly returned and we had good communication with the owner. We will be back to stay again.
I travelled with my wife and 22 month old daughter, and we had a lovely time in this cottage near the centre of Whitstable and also close to the beach. The house was very comfortable, clean, user friendly, with Wifi, and also child friendly i.e. had a cot and highchair. The toilet & bathroom is downstairs which is the only caveat to our positive review. I would recommend it as good value accommodation for a family
