“Great place to eat”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

My partner and I went to the harbour garden cafe/restaurant last Friday. We had a superb 3 course meal including a half lobster. The service was discreet yet efficient. The food was fabulous. the restaurant itself is great, a little quirky as it's all 'all fresco' Despite being a little chilly there are blankets provided! and patio heaters.
can't wait to go back when it's warmer!

“Amazing experience even in the rain!!!!”
Reviewed September 23, 2012

Turned up and did not realise it was outside, but even though it was raining there was lovely heaters outside and each chair had a fleece blanket to keep of the chill which was a lovely touch. We had mussels for starters which were lovely and when we asked for more bread we got a massive plate full. The lobster which we had for main ( had groupon voucher) was lovely and hot as we're the chips and the garlic mayonnaise was to die for. Staff were really friendly and could not do enough for us, would defiantly go back again but hopefully when the sun is shining next time!!

“Seafood to die for!”
Reviewed September 20, 2012

September 19th
We booked for 14:00 but arrived at 13:00!
They had already reserved our table, just by a patio heater (there was a chill wind this day and the the extra bit of heating just took the edge of that coolness)

I had mussels for a starter and my wife had a prawn cocktail, both were very generous in their portions.

For mains we both had the lobster, perfectly cooked and presented.

Could not fault the service or the food, or even the price!

We'll be back!!!

“Lovely Lobster Dinner!”
Reviewed September 16, 2012

We enjoyed a lovely lobster dinner at the Harbour Garden Cafe on 15th September with friends. We arrived an hour early, but sat down and enjoyed a pitcher of Pimms, as the weather was gorgeous and live music was playing.

The staff were very helpful, despite the fact that it was fairly busy. The lobster was beautifully cooked. Not overdone at all. Just perfect! The garlic mayonnaise was also delicious with the chips. We used a Groupon voucher, so the meal was very good value for money. I'm sure we will return.

“Different in a great way”
Reviewed September 15, 2012

We had a delicious lobster meal here whilst watching the fishing boats coming and going whilst the sun was setting. A unique place with lovely food, staff and setting. Highly recommend. If you're not sure do what we did....use the groupon voucher. Go once and i'm sure you'll want to return.
