We went in this restaurant on a quiet Tuesday afternoon in August. Not expecting much, I was pleasantly surprised - friendly helpful staff, very nice food and good value. If you are going to eat in a restaurant chain this is one of the better ones.

We ate here in August and it has to have been one of the worst meals I have ever eaten.
We had starters - calimari although you would have been forgiven if you thought you'd been served elastic bands. It was bland, obviously not fresh and the portion was tiny.
We had the pizza's which were just about OK but nothing to get excited about. The restaurant has about as much atmosphere as a bus shelter and the staff look bored and like they want to be anywhere but there - by the end of the evening - we couldn't wait to get out either. Find somewhere else to eat.

Prezzo is a staple for eating with children. We were disappointed to be sitting at the back and next to the loos but I guess someone as to be. Table way way too small for 4 especially as 2 of us had the sharing plates and all the other gubbins (adverts for new meals, spare wter glasses etc) we ended having to store stuff under the table. We made a joke about it to the staff but they didn't get the hint to move us ;-). The most important thing? The food was of a good appetising standard as usual.

We've been here many times over the past few years, and apart from one spectacularly appalling waiter on one visit both the food and the service have always been fine. It's not high end cuisine, but it's well prepared, tasty and reasonably priced (especially if you use your Tesco vouchers).

We went last night with our son and nephew and had a great night. The service was impeccable, especially from the young waiter in the stripy shirt. The place was packed, but our orders were taken promptly. I was automatically offered water with my wine, which was a nice touch.

The others had the prawn starter (our overall favourite), but I had the mushrooms for a change and they were really tasty. We also had a garlic bread with balsamic onions, which I did not get much of as the boys wolfed it down. The main courses were good too, especially the burger which my husband reckoned was the best he'd ever had. My nephew rounded off with a vanilla ice cream, and my son ordered the "special" for us to share. The "special" turned out to be three big cones of ice cream - the bubble gum one was really compelling.

In the summer, you'll probably need to book, especially at weekends.

had a voucher and made a booking. Staffer every helpful, courteous and didn't rush us.

The food was as expected which of course was tasty and served nice and hot. Our 2 waiters/waitresses were excellent.

Would definitely use again if we visited area again.
