Loved the high-spec of the spacious cottage, set amongst beautiful gardens of a farm just outside of Tenterden.
Very relaxing stay and ideal for us and for our young children (3 and 1 years old) to run and crawl in and around.
Highly recommended, with our thanks.
The cottage is beautifully modern and equipped with everything you could possibly need...and more. Perfect relaxing setting for couples, friends or families.
Stayed here with 2 friends last weekend and we loved it! As soon as we walked in the cottage was cosy but spacious. We lit the log burner on Saturday evening using the logs provided and it was lovely! The bathroom and shower were fantastic too. The cottage is just out of the town centre but a taxi didn't cost much. I would definitely stay here again - it was great value for money!
Stayed here with the other half. The cottage is absolutely amazing. Great place for a getaway or just to spend quality time. A must see
What a find! Exceptional detail and finish in this lovely 2-bed cottage near Tenterden. Great for year-round rentals with underfloor heating and a feature woodburner. Very well-equipped kitchen area and a super, powerful, shower (always a bonus)... Tenterden is a very pretty town with fabulous independent shops and eateries. For guests staying longer than the 2 nights we booked should find Pickle Cottage an ideal base for exploring Kent and the High Weald.

The building is spacious, stylish, calm, light, rural, comfortable, modern, traditional, well-equipped, cosy and spotlessly clean.
The owners were extremely helpful at all times, and very friendly.
The location is leafy, green and nicely off the beaten track. Even so, Waitrose is five minutes' drive away.
There are lovely walks from the front door. I think you could walk to the Chapel Down vineyard across the fields in less than two miles (though we couldn't because we had a pushchair to consider!)
There is a wonderful wood burner for winter (which wasn't listed when we booked); wood, kindling and fire lighters were provided. Nespresso coffee pods were provided. Wifi was free (fast enough for spotify but not iPlayer). Ordnance Survay maps were provided. Plenty of local tourist info was provided.
The kitchen is excellent - a proper gas hob and a washing machine and a dishwasher and a microwave and a freezer and a fridge and loads of corckery etc.
Shower room is excellent (no bath though).
Beds were wonderful (pillows were feather). Big sofas to stretch out on. iPod dock and freeview TV were provided.
There isn't really a downside - thanks for looking after us so well!
We were really surprised when we arrived at the cottage. The local town had an old charm, the property was pleasant and the cottage looked as it was just renovated. It was spacious, clean, decorated with taste and had all the modern aplliances. Clare and her family welcomed us and brought us chairs to sit outside in the sun. We enjoyed our stay at the cottage and we wish we could have stayed longer. We highly recommend it.
