“Fantastic”
Reviewed September 6, 2013

Have been several times and always been met with very nice friendly staff. It's really nice that the owners also find time to talk to you. The food is always exceptional whatever I choose from a brunch to lunch or evening meal and the cream teas are the best. If you want a great Sunday roast I recommend it highly but booking is essential. If you could give 10 out of 10 I would.

A real gem. Great food, locally sourced and good service. A really enjoyable evening. And, reasonably priced.

“A nice cup of tea & finger sandwiches & scone & cake...”
Reviewed August 30, 2013 via mobile

We had the traditional Kentish tea each and it was wonderfully presented and tasted great. The scones were lovely and light, whilst the tiny pieces of cake offered a multiple treat. As usual a warm, eccentric, vintage type atmosphere with friendly polite service. We loved it again.

“First taste of Kent”
Reviewed August 21, 2013

We stopped at Tea at the Oast on arriving in Kent, en route to our holiday cottage. It is a small, country restaurant engagingly disorganised but serving beautiful food. We had booked and all was ready for us. When we asked to eat outside the rearrangements were swiftly agreed. The drinks took a while to arrive as did the food. When it arrived it was lovely, all as ordered and politely served. No wonder it is so popular and rated so highly.
