The crab salad was served in a plastic shell! on a very tired bag of salad leaves and very overpriced. How I wish we had waited and had lunch at The Secret Garden Tea Rooms which we visited later in the day and was a lovely experience.

Absolutely wonderful restaurant located on sandwich quayside.
We ate in their beautiful courtyard decorated with plenty of flowers and dressed with a nautical theme!

We ordered ocean pie which was to die for, by far one of the best fish pies I've ever tasted and my partner had the halibut steak, we were both rather content with our choices.

Wine was reasonably priced, what you'd expect to pay at a restaurant nowadays and the service was prompt and friendly

Couldn't recommend the place more highly just wish we were locals..

We ate here whilst staying in Sandwich.

It is located on the banks of the River Stour and has a lovely courtyard where you can dine outside.

We had 2 courses for £13.95 and were really impressed with the quality of the food and the amount. The Seafood Chowder was divine as were the whitebait.

Wine was reasonably priced too!

We would definitely return to this restaurant!

Four of us stopped for a light lunch. Cheese sandwich and crab sandwich, portion of chips and four soft drinks. No wonder they do not have a drink menu !! The charges for a can of coke,or a
small lemonade or soda and lime are £2.20 each. Very over the top. Sandwiches were just " OK".
Won't go again

We chose starters of whitebait and mushrooms stuffed with brie and chives. They were both delicious. For our main course we had beer battered fish and chips which were superb instead of the stodgy, oily fish and chips some places serve. The staff are really friendly without being overbearing. The food is beautifully presented and other diners appeared very satisfied with their choices.
