Description: We are very proud of our hidden gem. A traditional welcoming family friendly restaurant. We welcome everyone with open arms and pride ourselves on our homemade food and our relaxed atmosphere. This is a real traditional Greek restaurant with the feel of being abroad in one of the Greek islands. We believe that eating out is a treat and our customers are made to feel special.

Had a really good evening, with laid on entertainment for £20 a head!, just couldn't go wrong, We all had a lovely four course meal, had a dance and smashed plates at midnight. Will be booking again

A very nice, reasonably priced, authentic little meze washed down with Mythos beer. Loved it -we'll be back!

A party of 10 of us turned-out for a Saturday night special at this quirky little place. It was immediately apparent that we were likely to have a good time given the company and the atmosphere. The place was packed, too much so, and serious shortcomings soon became apparent. When sat at our table, we were crammed in so tightly that the waitresses asked the customers at one end to pass the food and drinks down the table to those sitting at the other end. A visit to the loo for these poor souls was an adventure in itself given the number of people that had to move in order to let them out.

Obviously, being a Greek restaurant, one would not expect the bar to be serving any real ales but, at only 8.00pm, you would equally not expect them to have run out of both the draught lagers which are apparently usually available. Having had no choice but to accept the £3 per small bottled, very bland Greek lager, it was disappointing that it became equally difficult to order some soft drinks and sparkling water (the later of which ran out by 9.00pm). During a break in the entertainment, which was very good, a number of us went to the pub next door in order to enjoy a decent pint.

When the food arrived the nibbles, the starter and the dessert were meanly portioned even though, in fairness, it tasted fine. The main course consisted of more and was much better in all respects but when we got home I was still hungry.

The bill for ten of us was £350 of which the drinks bill came to £135; only seven of us actually had alcoholic drinks and, even then, not very much - drinks here were too expensive given the lack of availability on the night.

Despite my criticism, I might come back again, if coming with a group of friends because we would probably have a good time but I wouldn't come as part of a small group or as a couple and I wouldn't come if seeking a better class wining and dining experience.

I phoned up on a Saturday morning hoping to get a table. After being told no there wasn't any I was disappointed. Only to get a phone call back 5 minutes later to say they could squeeze us in. I was very impressed.

So half past 7 arrived and it was time to go and have dinner. As we've never eaten Greek before we didn't really know what to expect. We got seated at our table and got given menus and served drinks by a very helpful member of staff. Our first course arrived which was lovely and then the meze which was equally lovely. We waited a while for our main courses but that was absolutely fine as they had a live Greek band playing. It made the evening feel authentic and even felt like I was on holiday. We ate our main course of which I had Kleftico. The lamb was to die for as it just fell off the bone.

After we had finished our desserts they had a belly dancer which was very entertaining. All the while we were being offered drinks and being spoken to by the staff. It was a very enjoyable evening and would definitely recommended to people and even go back again.

All in all an enjoyable experience, great food, great price, and great staff.

Share a mezze plate for under 20 quid, we had three people and the food was superb. The owner tells you all about the produce and where she imports it from. The Halumi is to die for. The place is a little hard to find but aim for the river and the sign is on the pavement. Great atmosphere and lovely people. Food made to order so do nit be in a rush.
