We stayed overnight at Elvey Farm and were very impressed.A really warm welcome was complemented by the warmth and ambience of the room and background music. We both thought the restaurant meal was delicious and breakfast the following morning set us up for the day. We thought it was refreshing that all produce was locally sourced.

The Farm has been refurbished in an extremely tasteful manner and we really savoured the uniqueness of our room. we have strongly recommended Elvey Farm to friends and family, and will continue to doso

We visited Elvey Farm last summer, and have since recommended it to lots of our friends and family who have all had a great time staying at this hidden gem. We enjoyed it so much that we booked up there and then for our wedding anniversary and it is this impending trip that has prompted us to write this belated review - sorry for the delay guys !!

The hotel is in a beautiful, peaceful location and as soon as you come up the driveway you can feel yourself unwind and the stresses and strains of everyday life drift away. Our room (the Cantebury suite) was fantastic, complete with the 4 poster bed and wet room. The meal in the evening was delicious and although the resturant was really busy it didn't feel cramped at all. The best thing about Elvey Farm though was the unaffected effort that all the staff go to make your stay special. It's very relaxed but at the same time nothing is too much trouble - we can't wait to return !

Had a wonderful weekend not only with good company but the accommodation was spot on and the staff were very friendly, accommodating and helpful. It was very relaxing and the food was very nice. I couldn't actually find a fault with anything during our stay.

We stayed at Elvey Farm for our wedding anniversary. A really delightful place. The service was fantastic. Really nice to find a stylish place that is so welcoming to dogs! Nellie loved her scampers with Scubie in the countryside! The food was absolutely delicious. Really nice to see that Elvey support local produce....the best ice cream I have ever tasted and very enjoyable sparkling wine!
Our stay was a real treat and we would highly recommend.

i had the most relaxing time of my life here, the rooms were fantastic and the surroundings were stunning, all the staff were friendly and very helfull, we had a lovely roast lamb dinner which i must say is one of the best i have tasted, and the breakfast in bed was beautifull too.... the place has a certain charm that makes you want to stay ther for ever, and a big part of the charm was scubie the resident dog, a friendly quiet dog that just makes the place feel homely, i would recomend elvey farm to anyone, and havent stopped talking about it since we left....cant wait to return in the summer to see the place in full bloom as i can imagine it is a little slice of heaven x

We chose Elvey Farm for a two night break and a chance to visit Leeds Castle and Canterbury. Despite the cold and wet weather conditions Elvey Farm did not disappoint. Its location was perfect. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, the staff very friendly and attentive and the restaurant, with its dishes full of local produce beautifully cooked, was a delight.
Elvey Farm is not a big, brash, country hotel it's a quiet country retreat and as that it is very good.
Watch out for the low beams in the restaurant!

When your used to working in London amongst the hussle and bussle and living in Essex, my boyfriend and I was on the look out for a nice, romantic and peaceful weekend away....

I was so pleased with the place we decided on, it was everything I love about the idea of a peaceful get away to the country..

Not only the scenic surroundings but, the converted barn itself was gorgeous and really friendly to stay in..

We both felt very relaxed when the weekend was over, yet sorry to go after being so well looked after and enjoying such a cosy stay.

We ate in the restaurant on the first night and I really enjoyed it...well priced, given it's high standard!

The staff was incredibly helpful throughout our stay..the wine was gorgeous and the food was really lovely in a very romantic setting.

The hospitality and atmospere during our whole stay was incredibly warm and freindly and I was delighted to be greeted by the gorgeous resident lab (Scubie)!

To top off the weekend, our stay in our room was lovely! The bed was comfy and the decor was impressively well decorated....our feet sunk into the carper - nice touch!!!

We wil most definitely be visiting again soon!

Thank You for such a wonderful and luxurious stay,

Natalie and Darren.
