“Great place to explore Margate and surrounding areas”
Reviewed April 18, 2017 for a stay in April 2017

A clean and well maintained apartment in a good location - a short walk to the main town centre and beach where there are plenty of restaurants etc. Enjoyed the beautiful views from the lounge over the sea and Winter Garden. There was a hiccup when it turned out that somebody else had parked in the allocated space but this was sorted out by the following morning. Overall, an enjoyable place to stay - would recommend.

“Perfect seaside retreat”
Reviewed July 30, 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Myself and my family stayed here for a week in July 2016. The apartment was superb. The beds were very comfy, the showers powerful and hot. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, pans, everything you need to cook. The view was stunning, right out over The Winter Gardens and to the sea.
To wake up each morning and to open the doors onto the balcony was the perfect start to the day. The public transport was cheap and frequent, with a bus stop opposite. There were plenty of shops nearby to pick up whatever you needed.
Margate itself was no more than 10 mins walk to the main beach or to the town. There was so much to do, from The Turner Gallery to the old town and its quaint shops. There was a vast array of places to eat, a must is Peters Fish Factory along the sea front. My children decided on day one we were going back to the same apartment next year and I cannot wait.

“A Quiet Spot With A Decent View”
Reviewed June 2, 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Stayed here with friends over the Mod & 60s Weekend. The accomodation was clean, spacious, light and airy. There was sufficient pots pans & equipment for our needs during our stay. The furniture and fittings did the job and the beds are comfortable enough. On the downside the stairs might prove a problem for people with mobility problems and the blocks plumbing system could do with some attention to help waste water away more quickly. On the upside this apartment is only a matter of minutes walking away from the main thoroughfare and it has panoramic sea views. It also has designated parking which is not always the case. Overall, and for this category of accomodation, other than a couple of gripes already mentioned above, this was fit for purpose accomodation.

“Beautiful apartment fully equiped”

We visited Margate in August with our children age 7 and 12. The apartment was lovely, spotlessly clean and very welcoming. The rooms were spacious with plenty of storage. The children shared a room and although there is a pub at the back of the property we never heard anything. Infact the whole building is beautifully quiet. It is within easy walking range for the family to walk into Margate and there is an Aldi with in walking distance. Having the parking space meant that we never had to worry what ever time we got back. Overall we would be very happy to stay there again.

“Margate is changing, this apartment offers a good base from which to explore the area.”

Great space and everything required was at hand. Some furniture a little tired but comfortable (sofa bed) and standardized styling/decor was pleasant. Good views but this was blighted by a fair that came to town with caravans opposite apartment and generators that come with travelling funfairs were noisy. We didn't mind as had great weather therefor not in much. Good security, which is needed as there are still local issues. If you don't mind who your neighbour is this place offers a great break.
