A warm welcome. A spotless house. A comfy bed. A hot shower. Delicious breakfast including fried potatoes dusted with paprika, home made preserves including strawberry daiquiri and home made bread. Absolute gem of a place.

Stayed at the Warwick Guest House early September 2013 and we loved it!

The rooms are so beautifully decorated as is the rest of the house! The two owners are lovely and cook the most delicious breakfast. A small touch that I really liked was instead of the usual bland dry ginger biscuits you get to accompany the tea/coffee in the room, here you get a proper chocolate bar : )
We will most definitely be returning and have already recommended it to all our Margate loving friends ,
xx

This is a wonderful guest house, exceptional accommodation and value for money.

The welcome was warm and genuine, the room at the back of the house very quiet and well appointed. A comfortable bed with clean linen and lovely duvet. free view television, alarm clock. Well decorated and extremely clean. The bathroom was also spotless and with bath with shower over.

Breakfast was good with a great choice, including homemade ingredients like potato cakes and fine strawberry jam.

This was one of the finest places I have stayed in and was great value for money as well.

I cannot wait to go back, hopefully for longer next time.

Stayed for one night to treat the boyfriend with a trip to the seaside. Very welcoming place and we loved the little touches like the chocolate bars with the tea and coffee in the rooms and homemade jams and pastries. Breakfast was fab and I loved being able to choose what I wanted rather than have to have a huge plate of 'Full English' that I'd never eat. I also accidentally left some jewellery there and they were kind enough to send it back to me ASAP!

A lovely guest house. Newly done and very smart, with lots of tasteful decoration and furniture. Breakfast was excellent and they certainly went the extra mile to help. It is in westcliff, about 1 mile to the old town with its miriad junk and "vintage" shops. Surprisingly few pubs, but there were enough and some good food on offer too.

Room Tip: The front room does not have en-suite so check which room.

We had such a lovely time, we came to enjoy a soul weekend , and never expected such a wonderful hideaway! The rooms were perfect and nothing was too much trouble for our lovely hosts, the food was to die for and the baking, jams and marmalade (all homemade) were delicious!

Cannot recommend the Warwick high enough but if you are thinking of staying in Margate the Warwick should be top of your list cause it is definitely top of . OURS! Deb and Pete the old ravers.

Room Tip: We stayed in the purple on suite room but all the rooms look lovely.

We stayed at the Warwick Hotel last week-end from the Friday night through to Sunday. This is a great place to stay! The Edwardian house has been tastefully restored and we stayed in the old servants quarters with a lovely room, ensuite and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! The place was very quiet and all guests appeared to respect each other, with very little noise even if people did come in a little later than others.

The owners of this bed and breakfast Guesthouse could not have been more helpful in making our stay a really enjoyable one! They were even kind enough to try and accommodate us by giving a room that did not have too many stairs to reach, which was so helpful!

The breakfast included homemade jams and marmalades, as well as homemade bread and pastries which you could smell from your room - wonderful! The room we had was absolutely immaculate and everything had been cleaned to a very high standard.

Little touches really made the difference such as a laden tea tray with goodies, as well as tea and coffee facilities.

The owners balanced helpfulness and recommendations about what to see and where to go without appearing intrusive. I would highly recommend a stay at the Warwick and we will certainly stay again if we visit Margate.

There is a beautiful beach about five minutes away from the accommodation and it takes about 15 to 20 minutes to walk into the centre of Margate, with a reasonably priced taxi fare home if you do not wish to walk back up the hill again.

This was my first visit to Margate and I thought the beaches were beautiful and would advise others to rise above the 'bad press' that Margate has had over the last couple of years. We visited the Lighthouse Bar on the Harbour Arm. You can get a drink and food and the owner and staff are friendly and welcoming. From here there are great vistas over Margate Harbour and Beach. There is plenty to do if you do not want to go to the Turner Gallery (although we did) and when we visited there was a themed 50's revival in the Market Square.
