We went to Mullins on a Monday night for a friend's birthday.

Having seen the menus online me and my husband were very excited about the evening ahead.

We were not disappointed! I had a wonderfully, warming butternut squash and ginger soup and husband had fish cakes (lovely!)

My main was scallops and king prawn linguine in a coconut and sweet chilli sauce, heavenly.

Husband wanted the curried goat but, alas, so had many others so he had to choose something else.

Both our desserts were utterly delectable, passion fruit panna cotta and passion fruit cheesecake.

The service was excellent.

Overall, a fab night. We shall return!

We have watched this place change hands over the Years and have not been impressed generally with the food.
However due to the ratings, as a group of ladies decided to ive it another go.
Very impressed generally, with the overall service, quality of food, flavour, presentation and value for money at £10.95 for 2 courses
Food looks a little pricey in the evening. The only thing we could fault was a lack of atmosphere, we were the only group in there of 5 and another couple at the opposite end. Ok it was a Monday lunch, but as it was 1/2 term may have expected a few more? Perhaps a little quiet music may have added to the ambience? Come on people, try this lovely little place for yourelves.

Visited on Friday night with my wife and two friends. Had never been before and located it via Tripadvisor. We had been to the now sadly closed Carbeez where we enjoyed the Carribean cuisine. I enjoyed Carbeez, but Mullins' is better. A wider menu and better presented food. The staff were welcoming and helpful and the bill very reasonable given that we had cocktails and wine. They also hold a special monthly evening For £20 per head. We will definitely be booking!!
I'm very sure this will become a very regular haunt. Highly recommended.

I have now been to Mullins on four occasions and each time it has been nothing but perfect.
The staff and friending and the male waiter (sorry, not sure of his name) is a great host and very knowledgable.
On last nights visit my partners steak was a little over cooked, however the waitress was very helpful and offered to replace the steak, but we wanted to eat together so she removed it from the bill which was a very kind gesture and one that we did not expect.
We will certainly be back again sooner rather than later.

We have been to this restaurant twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. Both times we had such a lovely time that this is now officially our favourite restaurant! The food is just so good. Really tasty and beautifully presented. The owners are from Barbados and have brought Caribbean dishes to Margate - yippee! The restaurant itself has a wonderful atmosphere and on a cold winters night was so inviting with subdued lighting and lots of candles. When we were there for dinner we met the Chef who popped out to say hi, he was completely charming! Leave your car at home and indulge in some of their Caribbean Cocktails - yummy, yummy!! Love this restaurant, really cannot think of a negative, go visit!
