Joanne was a great communicator and the self check-in was easy using her instructions. The cottage was very clean and cosy and had everything we could need including a clothes dryer and dishwasher. It was nicely furnished and very comfortable. The cottage was a short walk to Hythe Beach and was also conveniently located for an easy walk into town. Hythe was a great central base to explore Hastings, Canterbury and some of the lovely garden estates in Kent. The local model railway, the beach and St Leonard’s Church ossuary were great local attractions. I would highly recommend this accommodation. Thanks Joanne.
Fantastic house which is a stones throw from the beach. We had a fabulous bank holiday weekend especially as the sun shone. We will definitely come back again!
We have visited Hythe during winter and have stayed in this beautiful cottage near the sea. We had a lovely time, excellent location, we could enjoy walks by the sea or wonder around the centre that is only 10min away. You can find really good restaurants here. The cottage is very clean, cousy and welcoming. Kitchen area has everything you need. Hope we can come back soon.
I stayed here when with my parents and our pet cat! The cottage was really cute and it was just a short walk away from the beach and the town centre! The room I was sleeping in was lovely and the bed was really comfortable!!!
Stayed in this amazing cottage Thursday until Sunday and had an amazing relaxing break. The cottage and position was out of this world. Far better than the photos and description. We arrived on a beautiful sunny day, parking was no problem, and was able to park right outside the front door. The whole property is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The beach can be seen from the front door and is only seconds away. There is plenty of beautiful walks along the canal approximately 28 miles long we managed 6 miles everyday and was able to let the dogs off the lead along the river without fear of them being run over, we also walked along the sea front which runs parallel with the beach. We took our grandson to feed the ducks and swans about a 5 minute walk away and found a little machine selling duck food which was so quaint. The village is about a slow 6 minute walk away with beautiful one off gift shops, cafes and pubs. Everyone was so friendly, we also visited the railway and Port Lympne animal park about a 10 - 15 min drive away. There was everything you would need in this amazing cottage and will definitely return. You will not be disappointed if you are lucky enough to stay here. Thank you Joanne for letting us stay in your beautiful cottage.
We have had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous home from home. We are a family of 5 and the cottage provided us with lots of space and comfort. It is in a wonderful location - a stone's throw from the beach and close to the town and pubs/takeaway. We made use of the swimming pool a few hundred yards away and visited some lovely family attractions - the model railway at New Romney and Brockhill park to name a couple. The cottage is brilliantly furnished and well thought out. Beds are cosy, the shower is wonderful and the cottage fabulous decor reminds you how close you are to the beach. Everything you could need is to hand. To add to all this, Smart TVs in the lounge and main bedroom went down very well with the children! The owner was also in full communication so we knew that if we had a problem (we didn't) things would be easily sorted. Thank you! We very much hope to visit again one day.
