“Great cafe”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 16, 2012 via mobile

We popped in here with friends for a late breakfast.

The choices were good and they were happy to accommodate changes. I had tomatoes and basil on toast which was very tasty but the bread was a bit soggy.

Service was friendly and efficient.

The homemade cakes looked lovely so will definitely be back to try those out!

“Wonderful cafe in Hythe”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 2, 2012

This is by far the best Cafe around Hythe and Folkestone. Went in here last week and met very cheerful and helpful staff. Had the best pot of Earl grey tea and a chocolate tiffin slice. Simply the best and very affordable prices. I got 2 and a half cups of tea from my pot!
I will be going back there. How about you?

“Cosy, friendly, tasty.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 2, 2012

Lovely reception every time you visit, very calm and relaxed atmosphere and clearly attracts regular custom. I am yet to see it less than half full.

If you have some work to do or fancy a quick break then take a sit down, have a coffee served by the very friendly staff, and relax.

“Lovely cafe in the town of Hythe”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 18, 2012

A great place to meet up with friends. Nice selection of homemade food, cakes, lunch etc. There's a map of the world on the wall with little pins showing where all the people who have been there come from. A nice geography lesson while you drink your coffee!

“A nice surprise”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 6, 2012

Actually, I think there is a place between Very Good and Average - and this is it. It's good. We went there for a coffee and something to eat about 11.30 - had a fantastic range of breakfasts - something for everyone - fruity, eggy, or the works. We had good coffees, and nice breakfasts - I had tomatoes, basil, bacon and a poached egg on toast and himself had french fried bread with bacon. The portions were unexpectedly large and well presented and tasted good.

We were lucky enough to sit in their courtyard - which was fantastic when the sun came out. Since we were only looking for something to sustain us - rather than a gourmet experience this came as a very pleasant surprise. Display of cakes on counter looked very good, but we didn't try or need anything else.
