Yes ,Sunnybank is a lovely old house but why, whenever it is so large do you eat breakfast in the entrance hallway? The breakfast offered was not a full English breakfast but a part of e.g. sausages and egg, one day and bacon egg, and tomato the next. The room was clean but you have to go onto the landing to access the kettle for your tea making. I just found this all a step back in time to the eighties type of B and B.

Room Tip: Try the beds, ours sagged a bit

A great location and a friendly welcome is what you get. The room had great views and bed linen from 1976, which matched the wall paper!! It was so old that the patern had been washed out of the pillow covers. It needs an urgent update. The place was clean and the breakfast was top class, what you got of it, two rashers of thick bacon and a nice sausage plus a fried egg, no beans no mushrooms no tomato, served on a childs plate. I have not enjoyed writting this review because the welcome was very warm. Hythe is a charming little place.

Lovely guest house. A home away from home. Lovely service by Tricia the owner. Great location, excellent rooms and exceptionally clean. Would recommend to anyone.
