Visited here on Jan 2nd for lunch. The pub was quiet. The service was abrupt and several items from the menu were not available. The prawn tempura starter was nice if pricey. Our main course arrived 40 mins after ordering our shared starter and 2 fish and chips. No apology was given for the slow service. The fish and chips was 'no frills'. Nothing special, plain peas, small bit of fish and overcooked chips. Not worth the £13.50. However the place is very nicely decorated. We noticed there didn't seem to be any heating.
