Fully licensed; with a good selection of international and local, wines and beers. Our talented and friendly chefs are happy to cater for special dietary requirements given sufficient notice.

I recently organised a day tour to Canterbury and Margate for a party of 19. Philip and Alan were great when it came to accommodating our ever-changing requirements, they sent through a set menu with three different options for mains and deserts and from there we were able to get everyone's choices without having to worry about ordering when we arrived.
Our meals were simple, but SO delicious with locally sourced ingredients.
A fantastic find!

A varied array of fish dishes produced to a high standard. I loved sitting downstairs and being able to see the preparation of the food. A good feel and fine selection of wines and a nice kia too.
A little on the cool side however when door is opened to the restaurant.

Took my sister to this Resturant for her 60th birthday. She enjoyed it and we did as always, thanks for making the cake for us and the food was first class. My sister really enjoyed it.

Our first experience as a result of the reviews here. We weren't disappointed. The food was excellent, both starter and main course, could not even entertain a coffee afterwards though the desserts on offer sounded delicious. Service was efficient, decor simple..minor comment...table cloths in the evening would be a nice touch. Previous review by Hobbit275 says it all..'much cheaper than the Oyster House' ...yes, well done for outdoing the trendy Whitstable eateries!...well worth the trip down the road..nothing more to say..Go !

First time at Le Petit Poisson we went with our friends from London and all thought the food was delicious. Service very good will go again. P.S. much cheaper than The Oyster House at Whitstable ! Love to see Herne Bay out-doing the upmarket Whitstable.
