“Great little place.”
Reviewed September 12, 2012 via mobile

Smashing little cafe / restaurant. Welcoming atmosphere and clean and tidy all round. Staff very friendly and attentive. Been here a few times with my toddler in tow and booster seat or high chair always offered and set up. Can only comment on breakfasts which are right on the money. Only slight niggle for me personally is that the items available are a tad limited.

“Old fashioned value”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

Popped in here for a bite to eat before the cinema, this is an old-fashioned cafe obviously really popular with local people - really impressed with the service and the simple well-cooked food, I can recommend the omelettes which are huge and packed with fillings, and mine came accompanied with great chips, a salad and garden peas. They also serve a nice cup of tea. Didn't try the puddings but they looked really tempting so I will be back.

“Good food and nothing is too much trouble”
Reviewed July 11, 2012

Had sunday roast which was plentiful and good quality, vegetables fresh and lots of gravy. We had wine with the meal, which was reasonable quality and reasonably priced. The staff, particularly the Manageress are a credit to the owner, nothing is too much trouble and we we not rushed to finish our meal (we were still there 2 hours after they finished serving).
