Having not stayed in a b&b for years, I was expecting the worst. I was suprised how clean and comfortable it was, nice little things like shapoo, etc were complimentary. It was very quiet, nice and warm, each room has its own bathroom. absolutely lovely. The host were such nice people. the breakfast was freshly cooked in the morning and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Especially my own family who are very fussy. ha ha. Excellent Service and Hotel. Thank you

Room Tip: They are all good rooms with their own bathroom

After a long day driving we decided to stop over in Herne Bay. The first door we knocked on was Evening Tide. We got a warm welcome and the best room in the house with a bay window to the sea. Breakfast was cooked to order and was so good and filling we skipped lunch. Little touches like chocs and bikkies went down well after a few drinks in the local bar! We would definately drop in again if down that way

Even on the gloomiest of days you will find sunshine and an abundance of warmth at this beautifully maintained guest house run by two delightful hosts. We were in Herne Bay on a difficult family mission and returning to the Evening Tide was like being comforted by a huge re-assuring hug! And to top it all, the breakfasts were second to none and set us up for all the challenges the days threw at us. Thankyou Eric and Colleen for taking us under your wing and we look forward to seeing you again whenever we are in need of a seaside hug!! Ron & Maureen.

Room Tip: With such high standards, none of the rooms could fail to please but the front seaview room was obvi...

This was our second visit and every bit as good as the first! Clean, seaview room with plenty of storage. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate available in your room and even a bottle of water for those who don't like hot drinks!

A welcome pack telling you everything you need to know and complimentary chocolates which went down a treat with our 6 year old!

A great choice at breakfast with cereals, cereal bars, fruit and yoghurt. For those who still have room after that a full english is available, which is highly recommended!!

Will most definately be back. Thanks Eric and Colleen for a great stay!

After our 3rd time of visiting the Evening Tide it was just as good as the first time we ever stayed here.My husband and I always have a stress free break when we stay here its excellent for a short stay or if you are travelling around, the breakfast is very tasty you will never go hungry at the Evening Tide. Eric & Coleen are a lovely couple and go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable beds with the little added touches like the chocs in the room yummy. We will definately be back and will recommend this lovely Guest House to our family & friends. Marie & Bob Cunningham

Stayed for 2 nights but would have been happy to have stayed longer. Very comfortable and clean single room with TV, WiFi, tea and coffee facility, en-suite shower, well everything you need really.
Breakfast was superb with a great choice of food, the full English especially good. Well done Eric and Colleen and thanks for a great, relaxed stay.
