“Walk in woods with difference”
Reviewed December 31, 2012 via mobile

We were unsure of where to go and were approached by staff who gave us excellent advice of the best walk for us... oap and and a 2 year old as well as everyone else in our family. Spot on advice. Excellent walk in woods. Just wished I had a bike with me as the rides looked fantastic.

“Gorgeous place, something for everyone.”
Reviewed December 7, 2012 via mobile

We hired bikes for a day and enjoyed cycling round the beautiful forest. The lake is lovely and picturesque, the staff are all extremely friendly, and the food served in the cafe is all home-made and tastes fantastic. Recommend this place highly; it caters for everyone whether you are looking for a nice long walk, a cycle, or just a coffee by the lake. Lots of parking available. Really nice location and everything quite reasonably priced.

“Refreshing”
Reviewed November 19, 2012

On the spur of the moment I asked my daughter to accompany me to the Pinetum as I had heard of it but not visited.

We hired a bike each which was quite reasonable we then proceeded on the short family course unfortunately we did not find the directions on the sign post very good. A two hour bike ride ended up 3 hours through excellent woods with startling colours. We found the whole experience very enjoyable, lovely atmosphere, excellent bikes.
At the end we had a really nice sandwhich an a coffee. The only down side was the price of the car park a bit on the steep side.

“Something for all ages.”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

Good parking, great walks, fantastic play areas for the children and when you've had enough you can always end up at the tea bar and enjoy a hot drink & a bacon sandwich.
