Not much has changed over the years and ideal for a walk after work on a hot summers day.

It is a shame that the cafe cannot stay open a bit longer a times.

We have been visiting RCP for many years on a regular basis. It's a great dog walking route; and and you can walk as long or as short as you like. It's good for doggy socialization and there are plenty of doggy waste bins all over the place.

The kids park is very nice, our children also enjoy riding their bikes along the coastal paths, so excellent exercise and fun!

There is a visitors centre open between fixed times daily and also a pond which houses different types of waterfowl and in the summer you can see different species of dragon flies and other creepy crawlies.

Car parking is ample and free.

Only downside is (as mentioned before) the cafe! It's dirty, overpriced and the employees are very poorly trained it appears. So take your own refreshments!

Great place for a family picnic and walks. Lovely well maintained park that has play equipment for kids, nice clean toilets facilities and good length walks for all types of ages (none to taxing).

Easy to get to and park as well. But if travelling by train would not be easy to reach.

The down point is the café, whilst we were there the queue was very long and it took ages to get food out. Plus they do not take card payments (really in this day and age for a place to only take cash is very poor). also its a shame there isn't an area for people to swim in (despite being on the coast). This could make it perfect.

This place is a huge improvement on the Strand (which is a dump of a place in comparison) but still not quite as good as Mote park for us. We would come back here as it does offer nice sea air.

Nice to pop out and walk by the river. Plenty of places to walk, there are quite a few dogs there.
Can also have picnic as there are benches etc.
