Went for a walk around Faversham and decided to have lunch here. Really glad we did! Waitress advised there could be half hour wait for food as was their peak time but that was fine. We ordered food & with in 40 minutes it arrived. I ordered Ham egg & chips which was perfect & my husband ordered the steak open sandwich which he’s still talking about a week later! We will be back, thank you

This restaurant never disappoints with its food, and coped with my wheat free diet admirably. Monday night, quiet, with only one other table taken. But who else goes out on a Monday other than old codgers celebrating their 47th wedding anniversary? We enjoyed a full three course menu and felt well cared for.

Really nice pub restaurant, very good menu with lots to choose from. Food was hot and steak perfectly cooked. We had our food delivered very quickly and were surprised by the plentiful amount provided. I would recommend this place to anyone.

After visiting the brewery we stayed at the Sun Inn hotel for the night. Evening meal was really good and very filling and the choice of ales and lagers was very good. The room was very comfortable and spacious. Separate shower room the up to the bedroom with a Victorian style bath in the room.
Breakfast was really good with a good variety of choices.

Lovely looking pub. Nice atmosphere. And that is where it ended.
Wedding party just leaving the pub for the ceremony...lovely looking Bride.
Ordered food. Ten minutes after ordering all menus were removed from the bar area?
Lots of activity getting ready for the wedding reception in their private rooms.
45 minutes later still no food. Drink on the house offered and graciously accepted.
Food arrived. Steak open sandwich and a Greek open sandwich.
The beef was very sparsely arranged over a large slice of toasted sour dough bread. With watercress, stilton and two quenelles of cream cheese?? Cream Cheese!! Odd addition. Maybe with the addition of a little horseradish, it may have been a better match? or light smear or English mustard over the sour dough? Anyway...….
The Greek open sandwich was lacking in a number of areas. Seared/charred/wilted lettuce and a tomatoe bruschetta type mix.....NO NO NO - that is not Greek!! The addition of oregano may have given it a Greek vibe, or a simple splodge of Greek Yoghurt(the good whipped stuff). There was also a piece of bread in this mix? But it did not come from my slice of sour dough? I know this trick, it's called scrape off. If a plate is re-servicable then it gets moved to another valid plate. BAD BAD BAD!!
Quality, presentation, service and a faulty interpretation of global cuisine needs an overhaul and more education.
Other food we saw leaving the kitchen before we finally got ours looked better.
DO NOT GO HERE AT THE END OF THE LUCH SERVICE AND NOT IF THEY ARE HOSTING ANOTHER EVENT.
Shame, because it is a lovely boozer. 2 open sandwiches were not worth £18!!
