We were staying camping down the road and thought we would go for a meal, the outside look interesting and thought we would go in. The place is a little dated to say the least. Being a Thursday it was very quite. Staff were ok, bored a little (there face said it all). The food was ok, nothing special at all, ham egg and chips and two tuna jacket potato. Half the food come out and we had to wait around 5 mins or the reminding meal. With 6 people in the place, they wasn't busy and shouldn't have waited so long. Unsure if I would go there again.

Ideal for beers and chilling out but the food wasn't much cop.
I've eaten here 5 times.... and probably wont make it a half dozen times now.....

The venue and staff are very good but the food needs a Ramsey visit.

Its not aweful to say the least, but its not amazing - sorry !

Didn't look much from the outside but once inside, food was suprisingly tasty, atmosphere was pleasant and servers were friendly. Would happily revisit in the future.

We were looking forward to dining in an ‘olde worlde’ pub restaurant, so were a little disappointed to find a very modern, rather clinical room bedecked with fairy lights, and devoid of any atmosphere. The food was lovely, and good value, but the service left a lot to be desired. ( as in the Inn´ -see separate review) I think it is the first time ever in any restaurant that we haven’t been offered a drink until our food order was taken.

We would recommend the food and value for money, but our experience would have been so much nicer if we had felt ‘looked after’.

Sometimes a smile is all that is needed!
