From outside this is not a typical looking Wetherspoon's. Inside the front area of the pub its is shabby and well-worn. The rear of the pub is very oddly decorated and accommodates an eating area, a bit like school dinners and a bar where you will find a limited selection of ales. There is also a staircase that runs up the wall to the toilets... For my early lunch I ate a tasty pizza, but could not be bothered with the unappealing and limited choice of ales, so had a coffee instead. Neither of the two coffee machines worked properly, which is a shame, because Wetherspoon's coffee is normally good.

Pleasant enough atmosphere; reasonably priced drinks; BBQ ribs very good; battered fish too dry. Staff helpful.

Usually a huge spoons fan but this particular branch was very underwhelming.
It’s basically a large hall packed with tables. Unlike most Wetherspoons I’ve visited which have a “cosy” and comfortable feel, the sir Norman wisdom felt like a soulless church hall and was decorated quite like one too.
I appreciate “you get what you pay for” but here I was met with cloudy glasses, grubby cutlery and the tables were swimming with spilt drinks which were not once wiped or tidied while we were there.
That being said, food was of decent quality and the bar/door staff were pleasant. Rapid service with the app orders.

Had a lovely evening in here food was great, service was excellent. Drinks are very affordable so I made the most of this staff were really good I even had the privilege of sitting outside having a cigarette and listening to one of the staff singing her heart out in the kitchen , happy staff = happy customers well done. Will surely be back .
