Living legends on stage live - What a fantastic gig - Playing hit after hit after hit - modern classic crackers...
From 'We gotta get out of this place' to 'House of the rising sun' to 'Please don't let me be misunderstood' and on to ' Sitting on the dock of the bay' to 'Soul Man', 'Green Onions' and 'Knock on Wood' - The real McCoy song writers and original recording artists, treating an intimate venue to stadium filling talents, playing from the heart - scorching r n' b, + soulful blues = the real deal in Deal !!! Thank you the Astor - great host venue, with a great crowd, great sound - yep - GREAT, GREAT, GREAT !!!
Cheers,
Becky Chantler.

My 2nd visit to the Astor was arranged on purpose, because I really liked the place 1st time around. I've never liked seated Arena's, so the open (standing) area is excellent, you can literally get right up to the stage. Great little venue, will defo return.

Historic well-maintained building with many original features. Interesting stalls and an art display in the upper floor.

First the positives: Went to the venue to see Susan Calman on 9/10/14. Rang on the day for returned tickets, alas they didn't have any, but some became available a few minutes later and the venue phoned me back offering to me! Top 1st class service! Disabled access was very good. Bar the lack of radar key system on toilet. The only negative was the surly bar staff who clearly didn't want to serve a disabled person. But at least I got to meet Susan Calman after the gig!

Just a great little venue, James and his merry band of helpers work so hard to give the town such a diverse array of entertainment, we just attended the annual Dave Hatton Hootenanny, loads of talent here such a nice atmosphere so many friends just lovely. This place is an asset to Deal and long may that remain so.
The theatre is also available for various actitives and events.do come along if you get the chance there's always loads on.
