A wonderful welcome from a charming young man as he took our coats. We were offered a jug of iced water whilst we settled ourselves in our window seats. I had booked a hen weekend afternoon tea earlier in the week & Emma the owner went the extra mile by decorating our table with pretty 'sprinkles'. Nothing seemed too much trouble & all the staff without exception were polite, friendly and helpful.
And then the high tea arrived, WOW! All presented and served on fine china. The tea was hot, the scones were warm and freshly baked, the selection of cakes, pastries and biscuits ALL home made and plentiful. Crusts off finger sandwiches filled with a variety of fillings, the bread very, very fresh. We would highly recommend a visit to this top class establishment and are hoping to make a return visit as son as possible to sample more of the delectable fare on offer. Excellent value for money, I'd rather eat here than any of the top London hotels. A huge thank you to Emma and her team for making our visit so memorable.

Finally got round to visiting and what a special lunch it was. Agree with all the earlier good comments. Excellent friendly service, lovely food presented just a bit differently (scones), with little extras to make it even more special. A venue for Deal to be proud of. We'll be back for sure.
