Had a great lunch with the wife, enjoying scampi fries and peas then ice cream from there 2 courses for £10 menu. A filling and tasty meal. Good selection menu as well as beers, ales, cider, bitters, wines and spirits along with soft drinks and hot drinks. Local beers available on tap. Nice comfy atmosphere with friendly staff. Also B&B available.

We got there on a Saturday, the place was packed (soccer on TV). We found a table, chatted away with two lovely locals, and drank two awesomely cold beers. We had fish pies for dinner, which were just incredible! The food is surely well done and what I believe was the owner is extremely attentive.
Plus in this period, the pub is decorated for Christmas, it is superbe!
