We were a party of 6 on a busy Saturday night over Denison's Parents Weekend. I was pleasantly surprised by the attention of the waitress and the quality of the food. From the French Onion soup to the calamari to the scallops to the roast chicken -- dinner was well prepared and flavorful. My only complaint is that the bucatini langoustine, although quite good had very few langoustine. The table shared a slice of cheesecake for dessert and it was light and delicious. We weren't rushed and very much enjoyed the evening. The bill, which included a bottle of wine, was also very reasonable.

Historic inn offering lodging and fine dining. I was with a party of 6 who dined on a Saturday evening. During the warm weather they offer seating on a screened porch that creates a delightful and relaxed atmosphere. Every person in our party has dined there previously and has had a very positive experience on those earlier visits. We arrived with very high expectations. On this occasion, there seemed to be a total disconnect between the wait staff and the kitchen. One member of our party received the wrong entre' and it took a long time for it to be replaced with the correct item. Some of the members of our party did not feel the quality of their food was consistent with their prior visits. Management adjusted the bill to compensate for failing to meet our expectations. We certainly hope this was a blip in an otherwise stellar track record.

We enjoyed eating on the screened in porch and having a very leisurely dinner. It was nice to be able to mix items form the Pub menu and the dining room menu. The dining room menu was a little pricey but everything we tried from the brussel sprout appetizer thought the main course was very tasty!

We did not stay overnight but did hold our daughter's wedding reception at the Inn. The service was excellent, the food delicious, and we had a wonderful evening we will never forget.
