We have stayed with Mel & Reed now for 5 years. Everything " Warm & Inviting" wrote in their 9/8/09 review is so true. We are sad that we will have less occasions to stay with them now that our daughter has graduated from Denison. This is by far the best place to stay when you are in Granville, a very charming town. Moreover it is one of the better B&B's that you will ever frequent, period.

We found this Bed and Breakfast while looking for a place to stay outside of Columbus. Trip Advisor had no reviews. The B & B offers rooms large enough for a family, and it has a pool, which suited our needs, so we decided to take a gamble. Boy are we glad we did!

The Bed and Breakfast is located in a quaint college town. It has easy highway access, which made it a great hub for site seeing.

On arrival one finds a plate of cookies in their room. Snacks and drinks are available at all times.

The owners, Mel and Reed, are gracious and accomodating. Their neighbor, Karen, helps Mel with breakfast and straigtening the rooms. Her fun interaction with Mel adds to the warmth of this Bed and Breakfast. The 4 year old playful Lab really makes one feel like they are at home.

The website states they provide a hearty breakfast, and this is certainly true. Breakfast consists of a drink of your choice, a fruit dish and muffin, main course(pancakes, eggs), breakfast meat, and a dessert! We didn't have to eat again until dinner.

The guests can use the enclosed patio, pool, dining area and den. There is a TV with DVDs, games and a piano. The beds are comfy, and the towels are soft and absorbant.

No pretense about this Bed and Breakfast. Mel, Reed and Karen definitely know how to treat their guests, yet make one feel like they are part of their family.
