Excellent food at a reasonable price, good service and friendly staff, we have been several times now for Sunday roasts and are looking forward to a Christmas Eve meal, nice atmosphere in the restaurant and when we have been there the other clientele are nice as well, and we will keep going!

A warm welcome from Rachel and her team. Glad to see the place busy and standards are still high.
(Haven't been for a couple of years). Good bloody mary to start with fresh nibbles at the bar:) We had the roast pork with well cooked veggies and lovely apple sauce. Delicious homemade puds, sticky toffee and
brownies. Great Coffee to finish.

Four of us visited again using Travelzoo special offer vouchers which give you 2 courses for 2 people for a total of £25. Of course, we also added drinks, wine and coffee on top of this. The food here prepared by Neil is certainly not pub-grub, at dinner. All freshly cooked, beautifuly presented and delicious. Rachel, Neil and staff are all very weclcoming and friendly.

Went to this pub with a travel zoo voucher it was lovely to look at in a typical country village. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was fab I would recommend this for a relaxed meal with friends. I had the duck which was delicious followed by a scrumptious bread and butter pudding.

This pub is really amazing. There are deals here that can not be beaten. Tell me anywhere that does a roast chicken and the works for four people at £20.00 on a Thursday. A superb meal with a most passable bottle of wine, chosen from a great menu, and for just £30.00 for two, on a Tuesday. The food here is just some of the best. It starts with the bread, the butter, the salt, the pepper, the cutlery, everything is just right. The chef has a touch that will make you want to return time and time again. Great ambience, great service, great food. No, I do not have any connection with this pub, it's just that I'm lucky enough to live a village away!
