ordered 1 item on the menu and at 1pm they had run out, so ordered the salmon and cream cheese open sandwich. The bread was the thickness of a door wedge with the thinnest scrap of cream cheese possible and a few 3or 4 bits of smoked salmon. a couple of bit of lettuce, 1 slice of tomato and 1 slice of cucumber and to fill up the plate some crisps, all for the price of £5.95. The George needs to order their food from a better supplier so that they can serve up food that reflects the description on the menu and has some of the ingredients on the plate that can be tasted and cut down on the cheap things like bread and crisps and have all the items listed on the menu at least at 1pm(lunch time}

A lovely Sunday evening meal of beef ( 2 very large thick tender slices ) and all the trimmings enjoyed by my husband and I. Spitfire was excellent so my man of kent thoroughly enjoyed his trip.

The Caesar salad was made with mayonaise (too rich) rather than a true Caesar dressing & had no taste of garlic - the burger was solid & so dry it was hard to swallow &, though made from steak, as it had no juices it had no flavour.

Popped in for breakfast Sunday morning, as have dined here before & loved it. Won't be breakfasting again however, as it was expensive, with the waitress seeming abrupt and forgetting our tea, which never arrived. As a vegetarian, there was little choice, the scrambled eggs I had were unappetising, my husband found the same with his full english. Shame.
