Exceeded expectations, and lots to do in the area, either by walking or car. The hosts are great, and you definitely won't be disappointed
Cowbeach Cottage is everything you see in the photos and then some. Spotlessly clean with amazing attention to detail, you really want for nothing.
The lounge is so cosy & homely with a gorgeous wood burner (all prepared & ready to go) - it's just a shame it wasn't colder as we were dying to use it.
The kitchen is huge with all the mod cons you could wish for - there was even a milk frother (I want one!).
The vaulted ceiling in the bedroom was very romantic and don't get me started on the bed, it was sooo comfortable and HUGE!
Both bathrooms are immaculate with a lovely shower/bath and even lovlier white fluffy towels.
The walled garden is secluded and peaceful with the only sounds being bird song and the occassional baa from Julie & Mark's gorgeous pet sheep in the adjoining field.
The five sheep are very sweet and if you are lucky you may have them eating out the palm of your hand, I had the pleasure of feeding Stella the black sheep of the family :-)
Cowbeach cottage seemed to be located roughly 20 minutes from all the places we wanted to go to - Tenterden, Cranbrook and Hastings with some lovely villages a lot closer. There are some lovely walks through fields of sheep and we're told the occasional wallaby! Looking forward to spotting them the next time.
Lastly but certainly not least I must mention Julie & Mark, their hard work and dedication has really paid off, a lot of love has gone into Cowbeach Cottage and you can really feel it when you stay there. Julie - thank you so much for all your help & advice on all the different areas, I think our 'big' move may well be to Kent now and not East Sussex! It was really great to meet you both x
