Countryside location an easy 10 minute car or bus ride from Canterbury was ideal. Jeffrey and Dot (and Paddie the Westie) are friendly hosts who go out of their way to help. Breakfast was always a treat.

We were looking for a last minute, relaxing getaway from London and we're so glad we stayed at Dot and Geoff's B&B. Amadis is in a great location - just a short drive from Whitstable. The double ensuite we stayed in was clean and comfortable, with thoughtful touches like the kettle filled with fresh water because it's a little hard to fill it in the bathroom sink. In the morning, we had a delicious cooked breakfast. Dot and Geoff are really lovely, genuine people. They went out of their way to make our visit comfortable. We'd much rather spend our money staying with them (and Paddy!) than at a hotel. Will definitely stay with them again!

Stayed at the Amadis B&B in August, and was very pleased. The reviews were so right. This place is spotless! Very pretty and comfortable room. We slept very well, it was quiet. The added bonus, a private car park. Very close to Canterbury just about 3 miles. The breakfast was a treat, and we had a lovely chat with the owners. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone. It is a little bit hard to find due to a tiny sign by the road, so look carefully, you don't want to miss this place!

Our American and German families stayed with Dot and Geoff for three nights and experienced the true meaning of B&B hospitality in the UK. Paddy (the Scottish Terrier) just made it more fun. We had two children, their parents and a retired couple and Dot made us all feel at home, relaxed and well taken care of--more so than any we experienced in fifteen nights. We'll be back!

Just spent 1 night at Amadis and were made very welcome by Dot ,Geoff and Paddy. The rooms were a good size and spotless, the breakfast excellent so all round very satisfied. Amadis is very handy for Canterbury or the coast at Whitstable.
