Lovely tea rooms with excellent food. I liked the little milk bottles reminded me of the milk at school many years ago. Lovely assortment of tea cups and was nice to have proper tea not tea bags. There is even colouring for the children and books for them. Nice touch. A must little place to visit. Well done to all.

Have been here twice now. It is a lovely friendly little place, in a delightful village setting.
The first time it was excellent. I had a prawn mayo roll. It was enormous!
The second time very recently was a little disappointing, sadly. We ordered scones, and the wait was incredibly long. They were busy, but they are very understaffed. The food was good, but the coffee bitter, and tea is served in very pretty "dolls" cups. Fine if you like that, but if you want a decent cuppa.......
Still, good place to go if you have loads of time, and are not in any kind of hurry!

The Bakehouse is a lovely place to have an afternoon tea. Quaint decor, friendly service and tasty homemade cakes. You will not be disappointed.

This little tea room is quaint inside, though on a sunny day you can sit outside too. They serve lovely proper leaf-tea in china pots with cups and saucers. It's hard to find places like this, where you can enjoy a cuppa and a slice of cake in comfortable surroundings. The menu looked interesting, but we only had time for a cuppa on this visit. We'll definitely be back.
