We stayed here in July 2012 for 1 night for a friend's wedding.
Caroline was very friendly, efficient given we were in a rush.
The place had bags of English country charm, and breakfast the next day was hearty stuff.
The real service upside came after the trip though. I sent an email after we arrived home to ask if my husband's phone had been found as had misplaced it. Caroline emailed back to say that although she hadn't found it, she had checked with our cab company who had taken us home from the wedding, found it and would post it back to us. Very helpful, real people.
