“Perfect accommodation, beautiful setting and child friendly”

This is a beautiful holiday let, the attention to detail is second to none, and the uniqueness of this property makes for a very memorable stay.
The owners are warm and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble for them.
The setting is idyllic, across the road from the sea side, and close to many local attractions.
The children loved this place, which made for a more relaxing stay for us adults.
There was plenty of space for our family of four both inside and out, and the let had all the necessities for self catering plus many additional features we haven't come across anywhere else.
I cannot recommend to place highly enough, and we are all looking forward to a return visit soon!!

“Amazing Stay!”
Reviewed October 1, 2015 for a stay in September 2015

We stayed at Waterfront retreat from 29th sep - 2nd October 2015 & we absolutely loved it.

We have come away and could not fault a single thing. We visited with our 2 children (3 and 1 year old). On arrival there was a travel cot set up for us (in upstairs bedroom), along with the 2 bunk beds. (We folded the bottom bunk bed down and put the travel cot in there instead). Our 3 year old loved the 'big boy bed'. It was super safe and we weren't worried about leaving him on the bunk bed. We also had use of a highchair which was very handy - the highchair and the travel cot were 2 main essentials for us, they would of taken up so much room in our car but it was great knowing they were here already. Bit iffy initially about using someone elses travel cot, but had thin cot mattress with bed sheets and a blanket so was perfect (we did bring our own duvet and pillow - but didn't use duvet for it).

Our bedroom upstairs was lovely - very very comfy bed. Lovely huge windows that open wide to allow great air flow but lovely to take in summers day. The wardrobe is amazing - all the little nooks and crannys, with all the labels, sooooo my kind of thing - tried to put all the right things in all the right bits. (Youll know what I mean if you've been or do go!)

The kitchen was so well equipped - we had everything we needed (although I couldn't find tongs or a measuring jug, unless im really blind I could of missed them) but there was everything else available. Everything in the kitchen was Denby China - was a bit worried to initially use it all but defiantly added to the 'luxury feel' of the house. There is a small washing machine that came in very handy as I washed our clothes before we returned home - (there is a washing line out on the decking for you to use). There were also 2 satchets of washing liquid (I bought powder at local co-op but could of used these), extra tea towel, pegs, washing up liquid (we did buy our own) sponge, cloth, kitchen roll, washing up bowl for sink, little mini step and loads more.

The bathroom was lovely. Shower was huge and perfect. We managed to shower with the little one using the other shower (double shower, one at a lower level). We were provided with a towel & hand towel each. There were 3 flannels, and soap provided for us.

The property overall was just incredible. I had the pleasure of meeting Louise, who was lovely. Nothing seemed to much trouble and it just put us at ease. We initially felt a bit weird going down the side of someones house to get to the back entrance, but there is a separate gate & key lock to give you access to the property. We defiantly wouldn't hesitate to book this property again!

“Fantastic place to stay!”

We enjoyed our stay so much at Waterfront Retreat, the decor is so fresh, bright, clean and airy and the view from the bedroom over the harbour is gorgeous.

There is a lovely private decking area which is a great suntrap and there is everything you could possibly need inside. The bed is super comfortable, which made it hard to get up in the morning!

The owners are so friendly and really can't do enough for you, yet they will also leave you to your own devices unless you need them, so are not "in your face".... perfect!

You can walk to the shops and restaurants in Yarmouth easily along the waterfront which is really pretty & peaceful.... great sunsets along here too. It's a level walk too so really pleasant.

We would definitely recommend a stay here and will be returning ourselves.
