“Welcome return”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 26, 2012

We have just returned from our second visit to Norton Grange, Isle of Wight, and would definately recommend this to anyone. We first visited last December for the New Year break. As soon as we arrived we were made to feel welcome, with hot mulled wine and chestnuts on offer in reception. The chalets are not what you would call upmarket, but very comfortable and clean. The staff enetainment was hilarious with the Pantomime being a must for all ages.
Our return last week was a weekend break, and it was nice to recognise some faces from our previous stay. Once again we were made to feel welcome on our arrival, and the chalets agin were comfortable. There is a good variety of food for all types, and the staff are on hand at all times, with hardly any waiting. The only thing I could comment on is the pantomime this year seems to have gone a bit tooscripted, whereas last year it was very funny and a lot of ab-libbing, but it was still entertaining as all staff worked very hard. In all we have thouroughly enjoyed our stay with Warners, and are now looking forward to our New Year break at Littlecoate Manor, which I am sure will be an experience in itself. Thankyou Warners!

I went to this hotel on 19th November for 4 nights on the Tinsel & Turkey break.
We had a lovely welcome with Mulled Wine & Mince pies and were seated in a comfortable lounge with a bar, then given the keys to our clean, warm rooms.
When we went for dinner we had the choice of about 6 different dishes plus The Salad Bar if wanted. The tables were a bit small, but they were serving lots of guests. The meal was three courses with coffee or tea and was very tasty! The Dining Room was busy and bustling, sometimes a little chaotic, but we soon got used to it! The food was good and plentiful.
The next morning there was lots of choice at breakfast with fresh fruit and other prepared fruits available or cereals, porridge with all the trimmings. Everything you could possibly want! There was all the usual cooked breakfast things - bacon, eggs, beans, tomatoes, sausages, mushrooms, potato cakes and plenty of toast & butter.. The food was nicely cooked and appetizing.
The maids came every day and refilled the teabags, sugar, biscuits & milk in the room.
There was plenty of clean towels and bathmats. The beds were really comfy and we slept well! The room was cleaned every day.
It was pleasant, comfortable and everything about the accommodation was good, clean and in suitable working order.
There was plenty of entertainment and activities - bingo, quizzes and a team of musicians playing for dancing - we had lots of fun! The entertainment team were brilliant! The dancing, singing & acting was really good and there was also a comedian, a Male Voice Choir and much more. The young entertainers were full of energy and enthusiasm and were friendly to the guests. I think everyone tried so hard & I have been to Warner's quite a few times and have never been disappointed! Everything top quality!! Well Done Warner's - once again!

Room Tip: Some of the rooms have very sloping grassy areas. They get very slippery if it rains. There are step...

I had a great three night stay and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Entertainment was good, the beer was cheap from 6pm to 11pm. The staff were really friendly and always there to help if needed. The food was great and plenty of it and the accommodation was clean! Altogether I had a great long weekend at a great place!

My husband and I and two friends thoroughly enjoyed a three night break at the Norton Grange. The food was very nice although we didn't like the long queues for the buffet. Staff were amazing...and the restaurant served Gluten free options ...all very delicious. The position of the hotel was wonderful and very scenic. The entertainment was very good, especially in the lounge area.

We enjoyed our four nights away. One of the best things about Norton Grange is the location on the waterfront. There is a lovely sea view from the guest lounge. Staff are excellent. Our waiter Hose was charming and very efficient. Chalet warm and comfortable but we had the boiler house next door which was very noisy, particularly in the mornings, also quite a long walk from our chalet to the restaurant etc. Perhaps the only thing I have to moan about was the food was not hot enough from the carvery, but the food was well cooked. As previously mentioned most people were over 65 at this particular time, but perhaps to be expected at this time of year.

We have just returned from a Friday to monday at norton grange great food, great accommodation upgraded to a premier chalet in Elliot block. Good entertainment although the comedian on Friday was a bit dated and Eddison Lighhouse were a bit cheesy week worth the money. Our waiter Andrew was excellent and the entertainment team were brilliant. Will defiantly return.

Room Tip: Elliot bock very close to all amenities.
