The cottage was ready for our arrival. Clean and tidy and we were welcomed by the housekeeper and Isla, the dog. Met up with Sam, Jill and Steve`s son, plus canines.
We felt really at home here. It was peaceful, warm and cosy To celebrate Margaret`s birthday on
this lovely Island, to have a great lunch at the Boathouse, in Seaview, with our family (Islander`s}

This was our second visit to this lovely little cosy cottage just outside Yarmouth. The cottage itself is perfect for a couple, equipped with everything we needed, there is a lovely conservatory which we enjoyed breakfast in every day. The bedroom in particular is huge with proper 'cottage' windows which look out over the gardens and orchard. The owners are very friendly and helpful and the cottage is as warm as toast when the weather is cold outside! The location in the West of the island is really lovely, excellent walking in beautiful countryside but it's so easy to access the rest of the island if you want a bit more 'seaside' stuff. We would return without a doubt.

Found this place on the net booked it and ferry with the owners very reasonable price very friendly owners.
Photo's looked good and they did not really lie as the place was just perfect for the two of us,nice and cosy, exposed beams, huge bedroom with a settee,dual aspect windows, and a wonderfull bathroom with bath with shower and a standalone shower cubicle. It was a tiny kitchen but big enough to make any meal for two.The conservatory was huge and mostly glass but a good sitting area.The area was ideal for west wight attractions and not far to get to other roads to open up the rest of I O W.The Cinema at Newport is not far for evening entertainment either. We did treat ourselves to take aways from Freshwater,fish and chips from Rainbow,and a chinese from Hong Kong Express.Very good too.Also had meals at The New Inn at Shalfleet Brilliant,The Horse and Groom just a couple of miles up the road,The Bugle Inn at Yarmouth,The Wight Mouse Inn at Chale.
It was September tho and outside looks a tad overgrown and the outside furniture has been well abused.We also had visits from pesky critters but after a phone call the entry/exit was sealed.
All in all tho we had a great week at Tudor Lee a big thanks to the owners who left us to it,we slept well, relaxed and found other cottages that open up east wight.Cannot wait till next September,just hope the weather is as good as this time.
